pnmposter VERSION 0.1 DATE 05/15/1998

About pnmposter:

I made this tiny command line tool to print images in poster size using
many pages. First you start pnmposter and specify either the desired poster
width or height and the paper size of your printer, default is DIN A4.
For example, to print an image in the size 350x400 mm you need
4 pages. After printing the postscript documents, you have to cut the right
and upper borders of the pages and glue the pages on the left and bottom
border together. Default border is 10mm, this can be changed using command
line options. Read pnmposter.1 manpage for more details.

Files in this package:

pnmposter	executable for linux (i386 elf)
pnmposter.1	manpage
pnmposter.c	C-source
Makefile	Makefile to build pnmposter

Files required on your unix system:

You need the programs pnmcut and pnmtops (included in the netpbm package)
in your command-path to use pnmposter.

Installing pnmposter:

Just type make to compile it. Copy the executable file pnmposter into your
/usr/bin/ directory, pnmposter.1 in /usr/man/man1/ or where the other
netpbm stuff is.
